There are still a few seats available for my live, weekend SketchUp class to be held March 18-19, 2023 at the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute in Adrian, Michigan. More details are available on this earlier post, or from the school. Click the link above or on the image for more information and to register at the school.
I’ve been teaching SketchUp since 2009 and an in-person class is the best way get you where you want/need to be. In my classes we focus on the common issues woodworkers (and others) face in learning how to model in three dimensions. I’m there to look over your shoulder and find (and resolve) what you are struggling with. No matter what your experience with 3D modeling is this class will take you to the next level. Here is what one student had to say:
I’ve tried to use SketchUp on a couple of occasions on my own over the years – generally “hacking” around in it and getting something done, but not satisfied with my general ignorance of the application’s interface. With this class I’ve finally demystified SketchUp to be a happier, and much more productive, user.
In class you will learn efficient, productive techniques based on my experience. You’ll head for home with a thorough understanding of what happens on your computer screen, ways to use SketchUp to make your time in the shop more productive and a happy memory of a wonderful weekend. I hope you’ll join me.
