Bob Lang’s Work 1990s

I spent the 1990s cycling through custom cabinet shops, residential, commercial and a mix of both in my own shop. It was good practice to build things that someone else designed, and to figure out how to build things that someone else designed. I tried to stay on the upper end of the trade, working with good materials and challenging projects.

As the 90s came to an end, I was doing more and more of the problem solving, and less bench work. After I learned to use AutoCAD, I shifted to doing design, planning & project management for the day job and built little wall-hung cabinets with carved doors for fun.
