Stickley No. 347 Eastwood Chair Plans

37″ high x 38 1/2″ wide x 32 1/2″ deep

Named after the suburb of Syracuse, New York, where Stickley’s factory was located, this early chair was featured in “The Craftsman” Magazine in November 1901. A loose seat cushion was supported by a frame of woven cane supported inside the rails. I would run a 3/4″ x 3/4″ cleat inside the front and back seat rails, and support the cushion with thin wood slats. If you have the space for it, you won’t find a more comfortable chair.

Plans include detailed drawings printed on two 24″ X 36″ sheets and a bill of materials.
