31 1/2″ wide x 37″ high x 37″ deep
Although this looks like it could be a Harvey Ellis design, this chair originally appeared, with slightly different legs, in 1901 two years before Ellis came to work for Stickley. The loose seat cushion was used until 1909, when it was replaced with a spring cushion. The steam-bent bowed arms, plus the angle of the cushion, make this one of the most comfortable of all the Morris chairs. Later versions of this chair had legs that were 2 inches longer, added to the bottom of the leg, as seen in the perspective view at left.
Plans include detailed drawings printed on two 24″ X 36″ sheets and a bill of materials.
