The front entry hall to the Gamble House is an enchanted place, especially in the morning when the sun hits the art glass on the front doors, and the space is bathed is a glowing yellow light. To the right of the front door is the stairway, and to the left is a long wall with this table, flanked by two large armchairs as its centerpiece. One of the most notable features of this piece is the drawer.
