Marc Adams July 22-23 SketchUp Class

Bob Lang SketchUp Class at MASWSpace Available MASW July 22-23 SketchUp Class

There are still a few seats available in the two-day SketchUp class I will be teaching on the weekend of July 22-23, 2017 at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking in Franklin, Indiana. Join me and other woodworkers for two days of 3D SketchUp modeling at the premier woodworking school in the USA.

I’ll show you how to make the most of SketchUp for designing and planning your next woodworking project. If you’ve struggled with learning SketchUp on your own through books, videos and trial-and-error, this class will get you on track with solid techniques based on real world experience. If you’ve heard “you can’t do that with SketchUp” or thought “I’ll never figure this out”, I will show you that yes, you can do nearly anything and I’ll show you the easy way to do it.

I’ve been teaching woodworkers how to use SketchUp at MASW since 2009. In class, my computer is projected on a large screen and students follow along on their own laptops. In between my demonstrations I provide over the shoulder coaching as students practice. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that most people need a little help with a few specific things that aren’t obvious. When I show people what to do when they get stuck, they discover the power of 3D modeling. You don’t just get better at using SketchUp in my classes, you find that SketchUp will make you a better and more efficient woodworker.

No matter what your level of experience with SketchUp is, this class will get you to the next level. Bring your laptop, your questions and join me in Indiana.
