SketchUp Class Atlanta, November 27-30

I will be teaching a four day class on Woodworking With SketchUp as a special guest of the Gwinnet Woodworkers Association in Atlanta, Georgia, November 27-30, 2013. After the four-day, Tuesday through Friday class, I’ll be speaking to the entire club at their regular Saturday morning meeting.

The SketchUp class format will be the same as in the classes in Cincinnati November 16-19, we’ll start with the basics of setting up the program for woodworking design, learning to navigate and build a firm foundation on how to create, move and change objects in SketchUp. By the end of the day Friday, the class will be creating detailed joinery like dovetails, cope-and stick doors and making cabriole legs.

The Atlanta classes will be held at Peachtree Woodworking Supply, the regular meeting place of the GWA. At the time of this posting, there are still a few spots available. You don’t need to be a club member to attend, but because they are the host, you will need to register and pay through the club.

Click here to e-mail GWA for registration information.

If you’d like to host a SketchUp class for your organization, send me an e-mail for details.
