Nice Words About “Shop Drawings for Craftsman Furniture”

I’ve written a lot about my new book the “Great Book of Shop Drawings for Craftsman Furniture”, and I’m admittedly biased. I wrote the original book in this series because I thought that the furniture of the American Arts & Crafts movement deserved better treatment than it had received in books and magazines. This honest, beautifully proportioned and challenging to make furniture doesn’t need to be adapted or made easy. My book presents the furniture as it was originally made, and tells the story of the men who made it and the times they lived in.

Matt Vanderlist posted this review on his blog “Matt’s Basement Workshop” and it’s worth a read. Thanks Matt.
