Woodworker’s Guide to SketchUp Google+ Hangout — 14 Comments

  1. Bob – if you have access to the Hangouts on Air (which are being rolled out to everyone on G+, but not all at once) you can make the video stream to youtube. That allows folks beyond the first 10 to view the video. Once complete, you can either make the uploaded youtube video public, and viewable after the fact, or not. Check with +Al Navas on G+ (he may already be in your woodworking circle) for details if you need them – he’s helped lots of folks with hangout questions.

  2. Bob this sounds like a great idea , I would be interested in future sessions .

  3. It went well enough that it’s worth repeating. I’d like to do it once or twice a month. Stay tuned and let me know what day and time work best for everyone.

  5. Stay tuned Charles, we worked some of the bugs out this morning, and I’ll be announcing another hangout soon.

  6. There´ll be any other henagout? I´ve just founded your blog, and i´ll love to participate in one…i´m a cabinet maker from Brazil, and i use sketchup 8 (free edition) to make my costumers projects for presentation as well to study the ways of construction.

    • I’m hoping to get some sort of online sessions going in the near future. The experiments with Google Hangout had some technical glitches, I need to give it another try to see how it works.

  7. Please put me on your mailing list. I’m taking a Sketchup class at a local community college, but it’s geared toward building design. I’d like to see how a woodworker uses it.

  8. Where can I purchase your e-book?
Sorry, that I just found your site today
